Certified Organic Aloe Vera Gel Summary
Our aloe vera gel is pulverized from the inner fillet of certified organically grown Aloe vera plants, and then filtered further to create a clear and consistent aloe gel. This aloe vera gel was created by hand, removing the entire inner fillet of Aloe vera leaves. It is then subsequently cold-pressed. This aloe vera gel is thin and slightly watery, which is great for slip you often need in skincare products.
Aloe vera gel is held in high respect for dietary, cosmetic, and household uses. It has been an important and indispensable ally for emollient and moisturizing skincare, which is why you find it in Pronounce Skincare Lavender-Infused Lotion.
Aloe Vera Body Uses
Hair: Since Aloe vera contains 20 different amino acids that help condition hair and promote natural moisture in the hair, it’s a no-brainer in our Scratch Mommy blog- DIY Detangling Spray (perfect for sensitive heads).
Skincare: DIY body lotions and butters, salves, balms…the sky’s the limit when using aloe vera gel! Check out our Scratch Mommy blog for loads of DIYs that feature aloe vera gel.

Can aloe vera juice be used in recipes instead of gel since you are out of stock?

Unfortunately, not really. Aloe vera juice is a watery consistency and will not give you the gel you want. It also goes bad much more quickly.

It is so hard to find pure aloe! I love this aloe and use it on burns, add it to my daily routine if my face needs a little TLC, and add it to my hair tonic. Amazing healing product!

Not necessarily, but know that your butter will have a much shorter shelf life.

I made my first face wash with aloe gel and for the first time went three weeks without a single breakout plus everyone commented on how great my skin was looking!! I would like to know how long this aloe lasts in the fridge, or if I should freeze extras??

My apologies for this delayed response…I somehow missed this.
Fantastic! Expiration date for aloe is 1 year from date of purchase under proper storage conditions. Refrigeration is recommended, but not required. You could definitely freeze extras for even longer storage.

Hi Angela! Good question. Refrigeration is suggested, but not required. You’ll want to store it in dark, cool conditions, at least.
